Roma: my apartment!

I am so happy to be back in bella Roma, and am loving my adorable apartment in Trastevere, probably my favorite neighborhood.

The whole place was nicely decorated when I arrived, with the bright orange sofa, colorful curtains and art. This room also has a nice big table and chairs, and the windows look out onto the street.

There are actually three versions of this orange print on the walls, in various sizes. It's kind of Warhol.

Here's my lovely bedroom. I really like the white furniture and lamps. There is a huge balcony too.

This is the view out of my balcone. It's gorgeous and sunny in the morning.

Things to do while on the plane

Take awesome photos of the Alps out the window, of course!

In London-Town

Okay here goes, my foray into blogging. I'll probably be posting an image or two a day, but in this post I'm going to share some of my favorites from three days in London.

This is such a London-y sign. It was on the wall in a cafe in Kensington.
London is a fantastic city, so much character.

The Courtauld Institute, where yours truly may be studying next year.

Rainy Saturday at Portobello Road Market. There were so many amazing antiques, local characters and of course mobs of tourists. I wanted EVERYTHING.

(a new friend)

There seems to be a lot of love for Scotland in London. Exhibit A: Dad makes friends with a bagpiper in Trafalgar Square.
